OUR HORSE RIDES

Valery Trails has been running for over 30 years. We have been here for going on 12 years. We have 62 horses ranging from ponies to thoroughbreds.

Valery Trails is closed on Mondays during the school term,but open 7 days a week in the school holidays.

Kids Club
We run a "Kids Club" which is every Saturday during the school term. The sessions run at 9.30am and 1.30pm. They are 2 hour sessions which is $40.00 per person. Children from 6 years and up are welcome. They learn all the basics about horse riding. How to groom, tack up feed and how to ride. The program is varied with trail rides, jumping, dressage, showing and sporting. The last Saturday of the term is always "Show Day" when parents are invited to come and see how their children have progressed during the term.

Kids Camp
During the school holidays we run a camp for the kids which is two days and one night. This is a very popular event and bookings are always taken early. The cost of this is $200.00 per person. A teenage camp is also run during the July and December school holidays over 3 days and 2 nights at a cost of $300.00. Private lessons are available at $50.00 per hour. Group lessons of 4 - 6 @ $20.00 per person.

Parents/Local Ride
We have recently started a "Parents Ride" which is the parents of the kids club and their friends. This has become very popular and is run once a month at the same cost as the kids club which is $40.00 per rider. This is done on a Sunday afternoon from 2 - 4pm followed by champagne and orange juice and a sausage sizzle.

Ladies Day
Every Friday during the school term we run our Ladies Day which is a 2hr trail ride from 10.00am - 12.00pm, followed by a snack and tea and coffee. Most of the ladies have their favourite horse which they ride each week. We encourage the ladies to get involved with their horse. Many come early and groom and tack up their horse and feed and hose down their horse after the ride. The cost of this ride is $45.00.

Daily Rides
Daily 2hr rides are our main business, these go out every day at 10am and 2pm every day except Christmas day. The cost of these is $60.00 per adult and $50.00 per child. A one hour ride is also available at $50.00 per person. These rides are done through the National Park and State Forest. They are taken out by a qualified guide. Tea and coffee are available after the rides. Helmets and insurance are included in the cost. There are barbeque facilities available as well as a swimming pool.

Champagne Rides
Champagne ride is held on the third Sunday of every month at 2pm. Cost of $4o.oo per person. This is a 2 hour ride for the beginner or nervous rider, walking only, followed by Champagne and orange juice.

Birthday Parties
We also cater for birthday parties. Groups of 6 or more can do a 1hour ride for $40.00 per person. The use of all the facilities are at their disposal. Please note that these rides are only offered on a Sunday.

Breakfast Rides
Breakfast rides are available on request. For these rides we need a minimum of 6 people. They leave at 7am and you return to the stables around 9.30am. The cost of these rides are $75.00 per person. Afternoon barbeque rides leave at 4.30pm in summer and return to the stables around 7pm. Also at a cost of $75.00.

Two Day Ride
A 2 day ride from 11am Saturday returning at 3pm Sunday from Valery Trails to the Federal Hotel in Bellingen. Cost is $450.00 per person and for this ride we also need a minimum of 6 people booked in advance.
